“I was keen to develop a product (single sled) whereby a player can learn and train how to load pressure in a scrummaging position over several seconds with appropriate resistance which mirrors the reality of a scrum in the modern era. The product needed to be affordable, portable, light in weight and able to be used indoors or outside. With the assistance of Powa Rugby an appropriate single sled was developed.
